Nash County Public Schools will operate on an early release schedule Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, as follows: All Elementary Schools will be released early at 2:00 p.m. All Middle Schools and Tar River Academy will be released early at 2:30 p.m. All traditional High Schools will be released early at 1:30 p.m. CITI High School and Early College High School will be released early at 11:30 a.m All exams will continue as planned. All after-school activities and events are canceled due to the weather forecast. CITI High School and Early College High School will be released early at 11:30 a.m

Due to the forecast of below-freezing conditions and the potential for today’s precipitation to freeze on roadways, Nash County Public Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay for staff and students on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Essential personnel should report at their regular time, provided it is safe to do so. Breakfast will be available at schools. Students may be dropped off 40 minutes prior to the start of their school day. Thank you for your understanding. Please stay safe in this weather. For any inquiries, contact your respective school.
